The Best Books of the Year
Some of the BIPOC books I think will make it to those hallowed end-of-year lists
If you’re gagging at the title, I feel you. I had a similar reaction to seeing the first releases of the end-of-year book lists by the Book Girlies. Releasing these kinds of lists this early was something we noticed Barnes & Noble doing last year, and while I low-key still think October is a bit premature, seeing the two lists out so far this year (from Bookshop.org and Publishers Weekly) got me thinking about which books I think will make it to the rest of the annual roundups.
Below I’ve included both books I think will make it to at least one of these lists as well as some that I think should.
